Can a "Catcherized" ECM be removed from one truck and work in another one without any reprogramming? Not talking about the Smarty.

yes it can IF its the exact same configuration. 01/auto/fed is fine in an 01/auto/fed truck

you can't take an 01/6sp/fed and put in ito a 02/6sp/fed

the software is very specific.

 

Anybody out there buying a Smarty would like to trade (compensated) their full Catcher ECM for my stock one? Truck in sig below.

 

I put a catcher for an 01/auto on to an 01/HO and it worked great. Get a hold of member jazz_kt. I'm borrowing his right now but I'm shipping it back next week because I can't afford it because my front end decided to suck up about $1000 of my money.

I have a 2001 HO and took off my Catcher after I got my Smarty. I kept my stock ecm. I can sell you my Catcher if you are interested, but I don't need a stock ecm. Email me at wjland@hawaii.rr.com. We can work out a price that we both feel comfortable with.
