Can you time a pump...
Can you time a pump with just a regular magnetic base dial indicator? I don't really want to buy the fancy one that goes on the delivery valve if I don't have to.
Also, I just put a #10 plate and 3k gsk in my truck, how much of a gain would bumping the timing up a bit give me?

More power and more fuel mileage.......on that 95 pump about 16 degrees.
