hey guys I have a chance to buy a comp box at a good price .can i safely use this box on my truck my mods are below. some told me i could keep it in easy mode and it would be fine. what are my limitations if i can use it and does it hook up the same?

It hooks up identically to the ez. Except you now have the option of piercing the almighty pump wire. If you don't pierce the wire, it will work just like an EZ. Except that you'll be able to control response time from inside the cab. If you hook up the pump wire, I'd say anything over 2 or 3 will hurt the tranny. Especially if you tow.

I would get the tranny upgraded before piercing the wire or use it as stated in the above post. The stock tranny will not hold up to the wire being pierced. I would also upgrade the banjo bolts to the high flow ones. Once you get these mods done you will love your truck.
