can it be done?

i am looking to put the sport headlights from a 02 model into my stl version. is this possible anybody get it done?

Yeah it's possible......you have to wire up a different harness cuz the sport headlights have two bulbs instead of just one......and the headlight itself is different. I used to have a template to use to cut out a piece behind the headlight to make the sport headlights fit......I'll see if I can dig up the link!!

the only thing that is differant is that the sport has a bottom bolt that holds the assembly in ist it? besides wiring

I don't think that they are much different........and I'm not positive that there has to be any cutting done......since our trucks are newer and did come with a sport option. The cutting my be on the 98' and older model trucks. So it may just be wiring!!
