hey guys its been awhile im lookin at putting a cam in my truck was thinking about the "big stick" wanted to know what your thoughts were on that or suggestions insted with the setup i have now, the trans is going to be built as soon as winter is over and i can ride my harley while it is down, also prob going to be doing 70 or 90 horse injectors.

Thats what I have in my dually. Would spool my silver bullet about 300 rpm sooner. Never drove the truck enough after it to do any mileage comparisons, not that that truck would be a very good yard stick anyway.

There is an updated version of the 181/210 that has a narrower LSA vs. what I have, but they have one size bigger thats still a drop in cam, the 188/210. Call Hamilton or Colt Cams and get the full scoop on them.

I had the Helix 2 with a silver 66, started to spool at 1700.
Where does yours start to spool with big stick.
I ask because I am looking at this cam also.

If you haven't had any stock taken from head or block the
181/210 is a drop in, will need heaver valve springs.
Call Larry in DTR store and ask him if he can get you one.

or just deal directly with Hamilton

I have a big stick in my truck also....love that thing! spools faster and egts are lower. one of the best mods I have done

been almost 10k miles with mine since rebuild. can say much on spool I changed turbo's same time did have a 62/14 now have a 64/14. but I dont have egt issues, or alot of black smoke compared to the old turbo without cam.

Was about the same. It would light around 2k without the cam.

Cool sounds like im pretty much sold did you see any gains in horsepower or torque? And how much did it cost overall?

The 188/210 is for big rpm's over 4250 or so.
