Calling the injector gods !!!

First off I want to thank everyone for all the info on this terrific site!!

Now for the dirt.
I was thinking about upgrading my injectors. I have been doing a lot of looking around. I have seen complete injectors and also just the nozzles for sale. Anyone have a preference one way or the other. For the savings I was thinking of just replacing the nozzles. Although the power is always nice to have, I was looking at reducing EGT's while towing. Looking for the best solution at this time to go with my stock turbo. I do not tow often, but when I do it is usually freeway driving and I have a lead foot

i just put a set of flux 1.6 in a 99 dually, it was a nice addition, my customer tows heavy with 3 draft horses and the trailer, it was alittle hot with the comp box at 5x5, at a dead stop with the banks turbine housing, but at 2or3x5 it was nice.
i prefer full injector replacements because if you buy them from reputable people they are generally flowed to match each other. with nozzles who knows.

If your talking about your 2002 truck you need to get either entire injectors or send your injectors in to have tips put on. As the "pop" pressure needs to be set when changing the tips on used injectors....

I must second the notion to go for a full injector. First of all you get a set of flow matched injectors and you know they have been gone over with the fine brush. There is more to an injector than just pop pressure, but pop pressure is all that an injector shop can give you with a set of new tips you bring along. Simply changing the tips without checking the pressure will likely lead you to having 6 injectors that do not match in pop pressure and flow rate.
My personal experience is mostly with DonM's injectors and I know that if I should need another set I'll buy them from Don again.
For your needs you should talk to Don and tell him what you want, need etc and how you drive. He can come up with a custom tailored injector for you that might be a Mach 2.37 or whatever.

Just my 2c
