Anyone have the Amsoil Filter #'s for the Dual Bypass system...I've got one but don't know the filter numbers.

Thanks,
Chris

The full flow filter is a SDF 26 and the by- pass is just that. They come in 3 lengths

you can see in my earlier pics that I piggybacked mine to the pass side battery. I took the remote unit with the filters on and tried everywhere I could. All I had to do was loosen the boot between the turbo and filter box twist the boot a bit to make it bend just a bit tighter the retighten the clamps.
I didn't like the under carriage either, to much chance of something catching or holing it. On a ford aerostar I used to have I put it forward of the wheel inside the fender. and on a Jag xjs I had I had to har pipe all the way back to the trunk (boot?) to find some place to make it fit. You just have to be patiant and inventive.

So, another question. When you install the dual bypass system, does that eliminate the factory oil filter so you just have the bypass filters, or do you now have three filters? It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me to have two full-flow filters.

This is my first diesel, thanks for putting up with all the questions.

Yes the Amsoil dual filters w/bypass uses two filters....the sdf26 full flow and the be100 for a bypass filter.
The system uses an adapter that spins on the oil filter connection and has an output and input oil line which supplies the dual filter setup.
They also make a singe filter bypass filter which allows you to use stock full flow filters and only the Amsoil bypass filter. It gives the engine more oil pressure with this setup also along with the cheaper price of the fleetguard versus Amsoil full flow filter.
