Bumper/Brush Guards

What do ya'll know about the different companies offering front end replacements for our trucks? I want a heavy-duty bumper/brush guard combo that will withstand deer and Geo's and is capable of mounting my winch. (WARN 12K) And is Black. And doesn't cost $1,500+ I've looked at a ton of different web sites, but nothing is really standing out. Thanks!

Click here. It's a link to this forum with a group buy on a very nice bumper/brush guard. Wish I could afford one.

Well, mine was $1550 so I guess that pushes it out of your price range.

Denver Offroad.
If you're interested I can give you Layne's phone #.
Handmade from pretty thick aluminum, so lighter than comparable steel models.
Usually a nice wait for it to be built, upwards of 6 months sometimes.
Factory OEM air dam mounted to the bottom to cover dead undercarriage space.

The mass produced ones are usually quicker turn around and cheaper, IMHO, you get what you pay for.

More pics in my Members Photos album, page 20.
(just got back from the trail, thus the dirty appearance)

If memory serves me well mine was 800.00 you can see it on page 43 of the member photos section. I paid additional to the 4x4 shop to have my factory fog/running lights recessed in. I have the 12k warn winch behind the license plate.

Check out these people.... Awesome stuff and they make it to your liking. http://www.southtexasoutfitters.com

The bumper for the winch is found under the ford section but of course they make it to fit a dodge.

1150+ any mods you make ???

James

I just ordered full length nerf bars and a double tube rear bumper from them. Great people and the guy you want to speak to is Jay if you call.

I agree with Phox. The DOR is an awesome piece. Fit and finish are top notch. Have had mine on for quite a while now and still couldn't be happier.
