Had some time to do some tinkering over the weekend. I totally removed the EZ and reinstalled the factory boost elbow.....result-bucking, jerking totally gone. Also the truck seems to run as well with just the F1's Mach 1's as it did with the stock sticks with the EZ. I didn't tow with it yet with this setup to compare pulling power but I feel it will be fine. I guess I'll save the EZ for warmer temperatures.

I contacted Edge Products about my bucking/jerking issue and they told me they have not heard of this problem and asked me to send in my EZ for them to check it out. I got a call from them today and they said it failed all tests!!! They offered a good discounted price on a new one and since I miss my EZ...I ordered the new one. I'll test it out thoroughly when I receive it and report back.

Got a call from Edge a week ago and they said my old EZ failed all the tests they put it through. They offered a good discount on a new one so it's on the way.

I got my new EZ on Friday and installed it. There was a short piece of wiring harness in the box that appears to switch 2 wires going to the MAP sensor. Does anyone know what this is for? Do I need to install this on my 2001 H.O.? I put the EZ on the truck without it. Didn't tow with it yet so I don't know if this fixed the problem. One thing I do like is the 3-position toggle switch to be able to switch power levels from the cab rather than moving a jumper like the old EZ.
