broke trans
broke trans
so last night i wired up a switch to lock up my torque converter on command and today while at work one of my dads friends was there and i was tellin him about it and my dad said hey i havent got to ride in it yet so i told em to take it out and i would stay there and keep workin do about 15 minutes later i get a message from the secretary to go and pick them up, i was expecting to see a spit out drive line but nope. my old man said he stood on it and at the top of second he fliped the switch and all the sudden it stopped movin and the motor would rev freely they both looked at eachother and said maybe the t-case slipped into neutral, nope we suspected broke input shaft. so tonight i pulled the ttrans out after work and sure enought a broke input shaft. so any body have any suggestion on what brand of billet shafts to get. i am an ats dealer but i know there are other companies out there and wanted to know what you all though. need less to say dont let your dad and his buddie try out your new mods.
As for a billet input shaft, DTT would be a great choice but I read that there on back order right now or somthing. Might wanna check HTS or goerand...here's the hts website
