Brite Box

I have been thinking about getting a Brite Box from Geno's to solve my headlight issues. Anyone using one? If so do you like the way it works?

Thanks

Have it, love it, buy it. Installs in minutes, works like a charm.

Thanks, thats what I wanted to know. I still believe this is the easiest way to solve the headlight problems.

No cheaper alternative than this $95 get-up?

It's got to be a simple stupid wiring thing. I'm thinking maybe worth getting some HID's for a couple hundred $$$ more.

Its not that hard to wire in relays to power the lights, with the factory switch set to turn them on and provide high/low and low beams. IIRC we used 8 or 10 ga for my brother's installation. You can get aftermarket headlamp sockets that have heavier gauge wiring.

I can't afford 2 brightboxes to cover both my trucks, so I might have $50 or less in materials and a few hours labor by the time I wire them myself. (What's my time worth? No one is paying me if I'm not working... )

edit: I'm sure there are write-ups and pics scattered around here and the internet of homegrown setups like this... but I supposed I could get a few pics of my brother's if someone needs them.

I thought I read one one of these forums that there was two wires that you could jump to do the same thing as the brite box. Anyone know what wires to jump??

I've been using the bright box for over 6 years now, and it works. But, if I had to do it all over again, I would have built my own and saved $$.
