both hi and low beam on ??
both hi and low beam on ??
i remember quite sometime ago i saw somewhere a how - to about making both high nd lo beams both work in high beam position. it seemed like a very simple jumper wire had to be added somewhere. any1 have any idea where that article is ? had a pic and description of how to do it. i did a search but came up empty. maybe some1 knows a more specific search or where its at. thanks, scott
I think the jumper thing you're thinking of is to let the fog/driving lights be on the same time as the high beams.
Brite box is the only way I know of to have both high and low on at the same time.
Except, of course, driving around with your hand holding the switch at just the right place.

I saw that and printed it off to add it to the future projects list. The address at the bottom of the page is https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...rite_relay.jpg

Just spoke with Rattle_Rattle, the engineer in MnTom's reference thread above.
Has been 2 years and has done several trucks with no problems on any of them! The price is hard to beat....under a buck, and the Mod is VERY simple to do!

I did have the concern about high and low beam current being drawn through the headlight switch at the same time but if it has worked for that long with RR's setup, I guess it must be fine..........I think when ever I get a moment I will do the mod on my 98.5...........I'm going to do that jumper wire mod for the fog lights to stay on w/ the highbeams - great link from Geno's site
