I'm not sure what a stock one cost, but I do know that those make a huge difference!!! I'd go ahead and spend the money if you can afford it......JMO!

yea i have a ton of slop in the wheel, when i hit a bump in the road i can feel the wheel thumping/binding in the shaft, i have a thuren track bar so i am almost positive i need the steering shaft to solve my problem. even when not moving i can turn the wheel a few degrees either way and feel a "bump" in the wheel and its porlly the play in the joints of the shaft.

I've got the same thing I just chalked it up to worn tie rods cause I've got a new PSC box and the steering brace and DT track bar. I might have to try that.

It made a big difference for me. Most of my slop was the connection to the input shaft of the steering gear. Most of the splines on the old shaft was worn down to virtually nothing, splines on the PSC input gear shaft still look new though.
