Can you add a boost elbow and a j-hook to a stock hx35 turbo? Is it even worth it (psi wise)? If not which item would be the best mod to add to the turbo for worry-free boost?

 

For an HX35 the boost elbow is the best install as it only lets boost go to a certain level before it opens the waste gate. The J-Hook just locks the waste gate shut and boost is related to the fuel you give ti.

Hard to tell from your sig what year of truck you have, but the autos in some years had the HY35 and that would need the J-Hook.
