Is a vacuum capable boost gauge useful at all on these trucks, or do they never generate a vacuum?<br><br>Tad

 

Tad, the engine is not a vacuum builder and is the reason why a separate vacuum pump is being used to provide vacuum for brakes and hvac items. <br><br> As an add-on to Tad's post, I'm considering the pros of using a vac gauge to monitor the health of my vac pump and system. Is anyone doing this or have any pros or cons to share?<br><br>Jerry
