Im in the learning process and searched but never got a clear way of doing it or what to do exactly I should say.
My trucks build date is 3-00 so its an 00 with an but titled as an 01. Anyhow it is a 5 spd and has the superchips stuck in it for now with the bank otto there for now as well. I need to put the new tires on and guages before I go with anything bigger. It does sound like I am bleeding off boost though. So, My question is how do I plug/Block the wastegate? Or what should I do.

 

What does it sound like when it's "bleeding off boost?" And do you have a boost gauge, or is that in the future? Without a boost gauge, or unless you know what sounds you are looking for. It is hard to say whether or not you are losing boost.

 

The guages are in the super near future. I know its a boost leak I have been around turbo diesel and work on them daily. My psd when it was turned up you could definetly hear it hit the blow off. this is more like its gradualy opening the wastegate as boost builds.
