ok should i go gloss black or more of a flat black.

anyone have an actual picture of black chrome? I'd like to black out my stack, but haven't decided on black black high temp paint or 20% gloss black powdercoat or black chrome.

 

black chrome is not very black...its more like smoked chrome.....

 

think i will like the gloss. it looks the best.

BTW 53 ***** i have a 52 ******.

I no longer have the stack on, i went to a 4" straight pipe to 6" tip. But here's what I made/had. It's a 6" Stainless tube, and I painted it with high temp oven paint (which worked great as far as no chips or cracking). It wasnt exactly black, more gun metalish. 6" tube starts to look small once u have it on the truck for alittle.

 

now i like that alot. black on black.

53 ****** our 52 we just got done with the motor it is rust free and has teh pto out the rear end. does yours have the true posi too

 

mine does not have much stock parts left....mostly the cab, fenders, hood and grill....oh and about 4-5 feet of frame

 

Black all the way!! Everyone has a chrome stack. and if your going single like some of the others said go bigger than a 5" mine is 6.5" and looks awesome.
