Big line kit....Difference?

I recently installed the walbro 392 on my truck and could not be happier. As you can see in my sig, the pressure is great. Now, what benefit, if any, would i gain running the big line from my fuel filter canister to the injection pump?

Would this help keep cooler fuel possibly???

It was $451 shipped to my door. And no, it is not belt driven, it is all electric. I highly recommend it.

The only thing the big line would do is increase the volume of fuel in the lines so fuel pressure would not drop as quickly at WOT. A vulcan line kit and a carter pump did fine for me at 490+ hp, but I wouldn't worry about it with an walbro pump =P

Thanks. Kinda what i was thinking. Increasing volume, not pressure so with a powerful pump(like the walbro) the pressure would result in larger volume in the big line with little drop off at WOT. Let me ask you this, with the big line's volume, is it safe to say it would lower fuel temps at the injector pump?

I would not think so. At your pressure you are already by-passing the max fuel allowed by the VP-44.
Big line kits are designed to do two things....Keep FP up a bit when adding power, and extend life of Lift Pump by reducing the cycle time. Neither of these is a concern for you anymore.

Mine does. 19 psi at idle and can't pull it below 17 psi at WOT. Try a #1008 spring (I think), if that kind of pressure is your goal!

I installed my Glacier/Walbro on Tuesday.

Idles at 20 psi, Comp on 5X5 w/ HPVP-44 still only pulls it down to 16 psi at WOT.

I already had the Scotty Big Line kit.
