Big Blue24 Goes Big on the Dyno
GFB, we have nearly identical setups, except for the turbo. Why don't you find a local dynojet so we can see how the Super B compares to a stock 3rd gen turbo. I have theories that the Super B will not perform as well as the HE351, but I have no solid proof. The Super B is rated for 425HP, but I bet you could squeeze more than 450 out of it.
I have read about a couple of 06' guys who upgraded to the super B and felt that it wasn't a noticeable upgrade but maybe even a step backwards.

I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news but the graphs are showing a corrected number. STD is the old standard correction factor before SAE was used. To add to the injury, STD usually shows more HP than the current SAE used which is why a lot of operators out there use the STD correction. For reference, if no correction is used on a Dynojet then it will show Actual HP and Actual Torque on the axis'.
Having said that, there is a correction that is needed even for our trucks with turbos. It isn't quite as aggressive of a correction that's currently needed to compare naturally aspirated engines but nonetheless there is one out there but no dynos use one for forced aspiration.
