Yeah I've been wanting to get it back on the dyno to test out the new setup. I bought the super B slightly used because the price was right and for ease of upgrade to twins later. At the time I figured I'd have enough restraint to not get the adrenaline. It cooled great for the XZT+/ottomind stack (even with the jammers), but it's helpless against the adrenaline's fueling. I'll post when I get 'er done.

I'm having dyno withdrawal, I'll be in Las Vegas again Saturday, maybe I can distract my wife with a "just because" gift certificate to GAP and go play at the dyno shop some more.

 

I put on my other set of wheels with old BFG ATs to burn the rest of them off and now I think my clutch might be slipping.
Need to get that fixed first.

 

I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news but the graphs are showing a corrected number. STD is the old standard correction factor before SAE was used. To add to the injury, STD usually shows more HP than the current SAE used which is why a lot of operators out there use the STD correction. For reference, if no correction is used on a Dynojet then it will show Actual HP and Actual Torque on the axis'.

Having said that, there is a correction that is needed even for our trucks with turbos. It isn't quite as aggressive of a correction that's currently needed to compare naturally aspirated engines but nonetheless there is one out there but no dynos use one for forced aspiration.

Congrats on the great numbers. I hope to be around 550hp, but I can't find a dyno near me. I would be siked to have a 500hp truck.
