I am making a heatshield for a BHAF and I was wondering what I need to hook the BHAF to the turbo inlet hose?
Also I have made a drawing of the heatshield in autocad if anyone needs it.

 

You do not need anything to hook it up. The "snout" on the filter fits the hose.

When i hooked up my BHAF, the snout just seemed too short for me (may be a slightly different design). So, i made an adaptor out of PVC pipe. I cant remember the sizes exactly, but i think i slid a piece of 3" into a piece of 4" and glued them. Leaving about 2" of the 3" sticking out. I may have glued a 3" coupler onto some 3" pipe to get the same effect. I dont know, but you get the idea. Just get some pipe and see what fits.

My Fleetgaurd fit perfectly to the turbo hose. The intake on the filter is more than stout enough to hose clamp it down.
