BHAF or air box delimma

OK, guys. I have a BHAF installed now. My EGT's never really went down any, and my MPG decreases slightly. It's even worse now, that I have my torque plate. Although I have not advanced my timing yet. Anyway, I'm thinking of going to a airbox of some sort, and dumping the BHAF. I would like a fully enclosed system (minus the openings for airflow). I hear the scotty II is great, also the AFE. How about the Banks? Just need some expireneced advice on the Air filters. Thanks.

I too installed a BHAF and did not experience any performance increase or EGT decrease over stock. For awhile I had a AFE Stage I and that sucker worked! Noise levels were intolerable though so after selling that I compromised with an AFE drop-in w/stock box. WHEW! I shoulda just bought another house with all I've put into this truck! They are fun machines though.

I'm running the scotty 2 and love it. With the stock turbo the noise is very bearable. Not to mention that I dropped about 200* in the EGT department.
