BHAF on 1997
Will the Baldwin PA-2820 air filter work properly on my truck? 1997 12 valve. Is the air deflector some have made necessary or can it be skipped for a couple of weeks until I find FREE alum.??

Yes, and sure.
Many have run a BHAF for years with it just sitting on the fender there.
Just make sure it can't slide down and contact the turbo, it tends to melt the filter when that happens.
