Better fuel flow Re: LP
Better fuel flow Re: LP
O.K. Guy's I need your help. Over the past year I have gone through 3 LP's and 1 VP44 all on warranty and I'm really getting tired of this. I know everyone is talking about the wildcat maxflow system, but i did see a thread somewhere that listed the AN fittings needed to replaced all the fuel lines and fittings to larger diameters. I've read about pusher pumps, relocating LP's etc. All I want to do is remove the restictions that cause these inherient problems but I also want to do it at a reasonable price. I have suppiers that can provide me with the fittings and stainless lines I just need a list of what is needed. I also red somewhere that the AN fittings will replace all the banjo's also, is this true?? I've had colleagues who have had poor service from some of the performance suppliers and I don't have the patience for tartiness. Your relies would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry, If I have offended anyone, but I was not refering to any supplier on this site. I was generalizing a true fact regarding some of the suppiers in our industry.
Stonewall, check with Rod (Wildcat Diesel).
I have his maxflo kit and I am not disappointed. At idle I am around 14 psi and wide open with a load around 11 psi. I went through several lift pumps before installing the maxflo. Ask Rod or Scotty to explain how this kit extends the life of the lift pump. Any attempt on my part would only confuse the issue.

I have the max flow and love it. With my factory LP, I idle at 17-18, and cruise at 13-14. WOT will not get below 11.
You may not see a huge increase in psi on your gauge. The beauty of the max-flow is that it give you a huge increase in the VOLUME of fuel delivered to the pump inlet. That's something you won't quite see on the guage.

Look here under "Dodge performance" and then "fuel systems". http://www.wildcatdiesel.com/
Member Ryan on the board also has a kit put together. You may want to PM him for more info.
