How much do you need to lose? I went from 285 to 225 in a year and have stayed pretty steady there. I went on the "Don't eat so much you big fat idiot" diet.

Will you be DQ'ed if you fit but you have to borrow a girdle?

I'd suggest that you mount a laptop to a treadmill if you want to hang around here- treadmill o max speed and voila! (Do not ask about conveyor belts )

The fridge is the enemy. Seek and destroy (not by eating the contents)

PS- A DTT tranny is well worth the effort!

Good luck ont the diet. I went from 330 to 235 in eight months on my own low carb healty food diet. Too bad I'm back up to 280 ( too much weight lifting again ) still look good though.

Your trying to lose it, I'm trying to gain it. I drink beer, eat pizza, and sit on my rear end all day and I've gained about 20lbs in 3 years. Did she say anything about lyposuction?

Im 6'3" and 320lbs. What am i doing wrong? lol I dont really eat any more than most people, but i dont really show my weight that much. I just inheritly am big boned, even though i do have plenty of meat on them. lol My Cousin is tiny all around, and eats more than i do, and never gains any weight. Metabolism i reckon.lol Must be nice to have one. I would like to get back around 275, and stay there though. I think i would be pretty happy if i could.

Hmmm...try this.....eat more meals a day but make them smaller, like 5. Have nooooooooooooo fast food and try to eliminate all bad sugar from your diet. Eat alot of veggies. Try no carbs after like 4 P.M. as well (for most it works You need to do some sort of cardio though. Id suggest in the morn like 5 days a week. This will set you metabolism throughout the day. Id also try drinking green tea. It boosts your metabolism and will wake you up. This may be alot to ask, but hey there is a tranny on the line here!

I lost a lot of weight with adkins. I'd avoid bread/pasta and BBQ and drink beer and I lost 30 lbs in 6 months. I also took up a martial art which is a fun way to exercise and you get to kick a little behind too I went back to what I was eating, quit the MA and gained it back. That diet rox though - eating pork ribs, steak,... Beer technically is to be avoided with adkins, but I made an exception

Their advice is much sounder than mine. More smaller meals does provide better metabolism than a few bigger meals. I think I intake more calories from soda than food though.

BTW don't take diet advice from anyone name Phatboy

I'm 6'4 225lbs and was at 248lbs about 2 months ago. I basically cut out all of the crap that I was eating and started eating more sensible meals rather than just junk. Fast food became a thing of the past, cut out the mountain dew ( well just not as much ) and ate way less at the dinner table.

I used to eat until I was stuffed, and now I only eat enough to get rid of the growly stomach and quit!! It's working great now, This is exactly the weight I wanted to be at so I'm gonna keep doing what I am doing. Seems to be a good plan!!!

So in a year if you REALLY stick to a diet and don't stray away you should be able to use those 50 pounds, or at least slim up enough to fit in those. GOOD LUCK man, let us all now how the battle goes.....................I'm gonna go eat a juicy cheeseburger now!!!!! Just kidding
