Yeah, his trackbar will solve stock trackbar issues. Well, as long as the rest of the steering componates are in proper condition and the alighnment is on, yeah, the Thuren track bar will help keep your truck straight. It will also out live several stock trackbars; and when the time comes, they're rebuildable.

Well, that's easy. Fire upo your truck. Have someone turn the steering wheel lock to lock. Now while you're laying under the front bumper, look where the trackbar mounts. On the driver side it'll be at the frame and on the passenger side, it'll be at the axle. If it's worn, it will "pop" around at the frame mount. That's the most common thing.

Yeah, that does sound like the powersteering pump is going out. But you do need to turn the steeringwheel in order to see the trackbar moving around. Just tugging and pulling on it would do. There is just too much weight on the front-end for a hand job............ That really doesn't sound good, does it???........ But that's what it amounts too. Trying to use nothing more than your hands won't work.

Autozone lifetime warranty Track bar. Can't beat that and pretty cheap. Mine's been on for over a year now.

You don't need to turn it lock to lock, just have some one turn it back and forth a few inches, that is plenty to make it move if it is bad.

It's easy to tell when it's bad, whenever it gets more than 20K miles, it's bad.

If you buy a cheap aftermarket replacement, Autozone in my case, you get to opportunity to replace it free of charge every 15K miles when it wears out. I'm on my third one and while I'm getting raster at changing it...10 min job... it is getting old and I will put in a $$ aftermarket one soon.

If it don't want to turn without moving, why not set it on jackstands?
