Best looking running boards for 2nd Gen

Hey all,

Would like to put a real nice set of boards on my reg cab 2nd gen. Anyone happen to have some (with pics) that they really like- and would be willing to show us?

Thanks!

There are none!

J/K, I put some black DeeZee's on mine, they looked better in the box! So I switched to some Westin Platinum Nerf Bars, I like the look alot more. If I had to have running boards, I would take a look at Stull.

I have no idea where they came from or who makes 'em but I love mine. They make my truck very unique as I've never seen another pair like 'em locally.

The Best Looking and most functional running boards made were the Warn 4x boards.Once mounted they were easily removed with a thrust pin for those who went off road or into places with clearance issues.

Alas, they were discontinued and can not be found anymore.I have been looking for a set for my Quad Cab LB for years and never have found them.I do know where one new set sits for sale that are standard cab size though, but, they are way to short for mine.....Andy

Stock ones, from D/C with the custom blue LED"s i installed a few years back---Mr Policeman doesn't like them though, says they must be amber or red---no blue color.I just payed dumb and said "yes sir,i"ll change them out right away---not.There is a reason why i put them on a separate switch.

I have a complete pair I took off my 99 dodge crew cab. Before I sold it. Trying to mock up a mounting system to fit my 2003 quad cab dodge.

The step or tube bars and running boards help save the outside edges of your seats. Every time you get out you "roll" off of the seat edge and it'll easily end up ripped.
My Westin bars rusted from the inside/out and I need a new set. Funny that they're the only thing that rusted on the truck.
I ordered a set online, guaranteed they would fit, after explaining 4x, they do not fit,. I had to box them up and return to sender
Any photos or recommendations of step bars known to fit would be appreciated.

Tired of looking for options so I just replaced the Westin step bars with the exact same model.
Exact fit so install was a breeze.
