Best bug deflector ?

Any bug deflectors better than others? Just got the Hood painted and would like to keep from getting it chipped up again.

Thanks
Dave

ps - Any preference on those things you put over the window so you can have it down a littel while it is raining?

Tried a couple of different bugshields on previous rigs, the three piece OEM one is best.

Have only tried Ventshade brand stick-on Ventvisors, I've had no complaints.
Some folks prefer the type that snaps on but I wouldn't know.

I've got a PCI and love it. When I go on road trips, there are hardly any bugs on my windshield. My old 98, which seemd to catch all sorts of items, doesn't even compare to this truck, "bug wise" on the windshield. This is the only brand of bug deflector that I've ever had, but no complaints so far. Good luck and keep on keepin on.

I just installed the oem 3 piece bug deflector. Pretty easy install, looks good too.

For the side window deflectors I went with Ventshade, the ones that go under the window felt, not the stick on type. (i've had these before with mixed reviews)

That only thing I have found that bug deflectors are good for is screwing up the spray pattern on the windshield washer nozzles. I have had four different ones and the only reason there is one still on this truck is that I'm too lazy to take it off.
