what fuel plate for the most power

I want to squeeze the most power out of my combo, I have a number 4 plate in my truck right now and I obviously have a 160 pump. Is my combo good now, or could I get some more power out of a plate change.

Thanks

I think a 0 plate will give you the most power. Are you still running stock injectors? A $400 set of 370's would give your turbo more fuel than it could handle. Some 160 pumps develop a stumble with 370's, though. I've heard this stumble is usually fixed with larger deliver valves. Hope that helps some.

Thanks, plans are for some 370s and dvs, I just want to push my combo as far as possible. Does a zero plate effect drivability?

here's what I turned my #6 plate into... was making 42psi full forward, but full boost wasn't coming in till 2600-2700 (4k GSK)

with my ground plate installed a hair back from full forward, boost went up to 45psi, and full boost is achieved down around 2100-2200

So is that pretty much a zero plate? Should I try to mimick that design. I really would like to just grind mine but I dont grind to much and mess it up.

you won't grind too much, you can always slide it back...

I mean... don't grind it TOO much, but if you copy mine, you'll be fine

oh yeah, if you don't like smoke, you might want to put a bit of a ramp at the bottom to keep it from fueling so hard down low. I don't care about smoke, and I like having the ability to have full fuel whenever I want. I can control smoke w/ my right foot even w/ my lag pig of a turbo. just gotta watch the passenger side convex mirror at lower RPM

Do a #108. That's a hybrid, cross between a #10 (on the bottom) and #8. A pic in my Photo Gallery. Put it in about 1/2 way from center to full forward.

yup, I wish mine had a little slope down low so that I could adjust the bottom end fueling a little better...

it is more like a #100, that is my plate in the pic. works like a champ pulls hard on the top. but it can still get smokey if i hit it down low. i would not hesitate to grind a stock plate to match it. killer street plate.

Not mine Jambbii ... I just archived the pic.

The nice thing about that form factor is that it restricts fuel down low ... which is where EGT builds super fast.
