Mopar Chrome Bug Shield/Air Deflector

I bought a chrome bug shield and lost my
instructions. Can some shed some light on
how to install this thing? I looks simple,
but do I need to remove the front grill?

It should have come with the little push-in clips with the plastic screws in the center. Push the clips in through the shield and grill and then put the screws in. Pretty simple. Just don't tighten the screws too much. they are easy to strip....

I got mine as a new takoff from a member of one of the sites I belong to. I can't remember what I paid but it wasn't much.
Steve White Motors sells them on E-Bay in chrome and also prepainted for most of the colors available on these trucks.....

I have the chrome on my truck. Got it at the local Dodge dealer for about $100.00

I got mine on E-Bay a few years ago for $70 buck if I remember correctly. They look cool, but serve no other purpose. Mine definately doesn't "deflect" bugs!

I agree there. It needs a turnup in order to do any good. I though of wedging something behind it to make it stand up a little straighter but have never gotten around to doing it...

I've always put on my previous trucks, but with the way the grill is on this one, it serves no purpose and actually covers up part of the best looking feature on this truck.
