Belt Driven Lift Pump

Interesting lift pump setup..
I am assuming this has been out for a while. But it looks like cummins should have made this from the factory. And pressure rises with RPM sounds like a genius idea. Like EFI Turbo Gas applications which i am more familiar with.

Most important of all is there anyone running one?

I plan on installing one soon, that I purchased from another DTR member. From what I have seen the people that have them really like them. I was looking for reliability and simplicity, and I think the mechanical pumps fit the bill for me. The idea of keeping my stock fuel filter with fuel warmer and the Water in fuel indicator appeals a great deal to me. Not to mention the ability to retain the stock lift pump as a back up.

Rasp and MITUSA had a huge falling out something about one guy leaving and taking the idear with him. If I recall the stock lift pump is retained too start the truck then a hobs switch kicks over too the mechanical pump..... Look up a lady named augusta she has had one on for about a year or more now she loves it.

I recently seen a new belt driven pump that will be the hot ticket.

Hopefully it'll get released soon.

Nothing I am allowed to release. I was allowed to get a look at it, but that's it for now.

What I can say. Belt driven mechanical pump.

They all seem to be pretty much identical.

Something along the lines of the duramax setup, it mounts up front and on top of the block.
