Hi any one running bd super single turbo?Any info would be great.Can I put one on with just a juice w/ad.Or do I have to put injectors in.

You can run the Super B anywhere from stock truck to 425HP or so. Both of you have HX35 turbos with 54mm compressor, 58mm exhaust turbine, and 12 cm exhaust housing.

The Super B is 57mm compressor, 65mm exhaust turbine, and 12 cm exhaust housing. Great little upgrade turbo that seems to have a great track record for longevity. If you outgrow it, you can sell it for almost what you paid new, or upgrade to the BD twin turbo kit and support 575 HP.

As far as airflow, your stock HX35 with a boost elbow or pinched wastegate line to allow 35psi boost flows about 52lbs of air per minute.

A BD super B properly adjusted around 42 psi boost flows about 60lbs of air per minute.

The super B does have a better breathing exhaust side to help with EGT's but in my opinion, lacks on the air compressor side of things.

 

will the bd turbo have better low end boost and spool as fast as the hx35.Can i run it with stock injectors

 

well i managed to hit 40lbs of boost with the stock turbo and boost elbow.. as for how low the boost begins and how fast it spools depends on fuel just like any turbo but for a turbo that small you should be ok using the stock injectors to get it to light

 

You will need to turn your chip up to make it spool like the stock turbo would.

 

I had rv 275 s and a smarty and tried edge ez I couldnt even get it to hit 25# of boost now I have the adrenaline and mach 1.6 s and am very pleased. I tow a lot with this truck and it makes me happy, but there is a touch of lag from a dead stop.

 

The Super B has a 14cm turbine housing.

 

Dumb question what brand of turbo is the super B Holset, switzer, garrett.

 

It's schwitzer reworked by BD performance.

 

It is a direct Borg Warner unit, no reworking.

 

if i put 90 hp injectors .can i tow with that or do i have to go to twins

 

You can tow reasonable weights, 15K or less with 100 HP injectors and the stock HX35 if you turn down/off your electronic fueling upgrades.
