BD Diesel X-monitor Digital Gauge

Does any one have one of these or know any thing about them. I'm getting ready to put gauges in my truck and ran accrossed this. I like the idea of haveing all three of the readings on one screen. Just not sure about Digitial vrs machanical.

I dont have one, but I do have an attitude moniter for my gauges.
Personally, I have bad eyes and didnt like having to stare at my old michanical gauges for 2 solid second just to get an accurate reading.
So I love my digital moniter cause its easier for me to read at a glance.
But thats just my personal opinion.

I have had one for five years. I don't really have any complaints. It comes with a welded on bung for the pyro. I welded the bung to the elbow on the exhast side of the turbo. I ran it like that for a year or so. Then I tapped a hole and bought an adapter fitting and moved it to the manifold pre-turbo. I could not bring myself to weld to the exhaust manifold. The trans temp taps into one of the pins off of the PCM. The boost comes with a fitting that goes into the intake after you remove one of the factory bolts. Pretty easy install I guess. It has an alarm feature that you can set for each that will flash at you when you hit it, but I have never hit any of them myself. You can get it with fuel and oil temp to, but it only displays 3. Sometimes it is hard to see when bright sun is at your back and hits it just right. It has brightness levels so you can turn it down some at night. I feel like I'm in an airplane sometimes with all the stuff I have in the truck. You can buy an a-pillar pod set up with quality gauges for a cheaper price. I would buy another one. Hope it helps.

The info helps. I have looked at the pods and gages. I like the idea of having all three readings in one spot. I think these are the ones I'm going to get.

I was contemplating the BD X-Monitor for my '97. Here's the thread I started: THREAD in 12/04. At first, I was thinking having everything down low on a single gauge would be a good thing. In the end, I ended up going with the ISSPRO EV gauges in an AutoMeter Gauge Works pod. They are extremely easy on the eyes and easy to read in any kind of light. I absolutely loved the setup.
