Anyone know anything about the banks big head waste gate acutator? Good or bad points? What exactly does it do and what's it supposed to help? IS it worth the 180 bucks? Thanks guys!

The big head delays opening the waste gate until higher boost levels than stock. Is it worth $180 uhm If you already have it keep it. If you don't have one, don't go out and get one.
Banks stuff works very nice, but deflate the checkbook .
A $30 boost elbow will work about as well. They're also overpriced in my opinion, but at least you save $150 over the Banks.

He's got a good point, I wouldn't waste my money on hardley anything banks unless you just have way too much money too spend, and are looking for a good way to get rid of it. Go Banks if you have no other intention of doing anything but paying for a name and wasting about two to three times as much..... (in the case of the Big Head, more like five to six times as much). But it's your money, do as you please.

Go with the boost elbow, cheap and does that job for you..

Or you could go with the adjustable mechanical wastegate if you have the money, The turbomaster system is better IMHO...

Just block off the port, if your not running big injectors or a comp box you woun't even come close to over spinning the turbo.
I had been running the boost elbow that came with the Edge EZ for so long that the WG welded itself closed! Now it doesn't matter if I have the elbow in or not the wastegate won't open. With jammer 3 nozzles the boost level is finally getting towards the red zone of the HX35 (37-40psi).
Best part about blocking the port is that it's FREE

Where can I get a boost elbow?
A while ago I was told the elbow could only be used w/ a manual????
Does the edge Comp come with an elbow because I have a new comp on the way.
