AutoMeter Pyro

???I have a AutoMeter Pyro and the needle is twiching, kind of like a loose wire or something, I pulled all the wires out and checked them, all good. Hooked up to direct power from fuse panel and good seperate ground. Still does it and seems to be worse when lights are on. Could it be the gauge or is there a problem with my lights grounding and causing a short.

Re:AutoMeter Pyro

My brother had the same problem. He just sent it in and they either fixed it or replaced it for free. He coudnt figure out what the matter was. So I would just send it back to Autometer.

Re:AutoMeter Pyro

I melted the thermocouple over at a 90* angle and my gauge was twitching like that, getting it out after melting it was a whole nother story.

Re:AutoMeter Pyro

Mine was doing the same thing I think the problem was were the wires hook to the thermocouple I just took a hold of where it hooks together and wigled it a little and its been working just fine since.
