I have talked to a couple of trans rebuilders and i am looking for a trans that can hold both the power and towing. both the wife and i have a heavy foot. but she cant drive stick nor is willing to learn. this truck wont be are primary form of transportation but when it is used will be used hard. any ideas, stories etc ?? Best thing to do is to start calling the major trans guys (DTT, HTS, Goerend). Tell them where you want to be in power and what you want to do with the truck. My vote: Dusty @ www.htstransmissions.com

I have checked warranty but, most are for 1 or 2 years and 50-100k the truck wont see that many miles so lenght is more important thanks, jr
