Question Auto trans shifting issues

A couple of months ago I rebuilt my auto with DTT parts. Up to now all good. I seem to be experiencing some shifting issues. Today it couldn't seem to make its mind up and stay in gear. I know what the TC lock unlock is like, but it isn't the case here. As I got close to home, I think the truck was starting out in 2nd gear.I didn't try manually shifting to 1st, rolled it home and put the groceries away. I don't have a CEL but I will go see if there are any codes. I have done a little reading and I am thinking governor pressure solenod/transducer. Any help on diagnostic procedures would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds just like what mine did and it was the transducer/solenoid. @ $250 at the dealer, be sure to replace them in pairs.

Auto trans

Just checked for codes with my Superchips. No DTC. Has anyone made their own transmission pressure gauge set up? Gauge, hose (pretty long I would guess) and fitting for test ports. Looks like 1/8 NPT. Can any one help to direct me on gauge info?

I was going to hook up a tranny pressure gauge but decided not to. There's two ports on the passenger side of the tranny, 1/8" npt. One is the accumulator and the other is the front servo pressure. They should read the same pressure. Not sure what they are in your case because you have upgraded some stuff, but I'd assume 50 psi at idle and up to 150 or more at wot.
