I am planning for future mods one is temp sensor for trans fluid and I see that there is a tee in the line to the trans cooler next to the trany pan with an electric sensor screwed into that tee , not sure what it is for.

 

Sounds like you bought the truck used, and the previous owner had a tranny temp guage.

Oh, what year truck?

Would help in future postings to have your signature filled out (user cp, profile, fill in sig box)

What phox said. I bought mine used. When I went to install my tranny temp gauge, I found the sensor already installed in the line. Saved me a messy job!

A.T. SLT long bed it came with a K&N 3in straight pipe.
