Can anyone give me a ballpark price on an ATS Valve body and torque converter for my 94'.

 

ATS shows $1388 for the TC(150k warranty), and I think $450 for a valvebody for a total of over $1800. I personally reccomend Goerend Borthers transmissions and parts for the best price and warranty/customer service. $1200 for his converter with a lifetime warranty, and $450 for the VB for a total of $1650. Check him out at www.gbtransmissions.com . Hope this helps you out. Either way, it will be MUCH better than stock.

Also check out www.dunriteconverters.com the owner, Tony Garcin is a long time converter/trans guy. He's been building these since they came out, and building race transmissions since the 60's. I have them in my truck and the converter was $850 and the VB was $450. He gives an unlimited milage 5 year warrenty up to 450hp and for $1150 he has another converter he will warrenty for life at any power levels (If I remember right)

Totally night and day diffrence, and it includes instructions for a manual lockup switch.

I talked to him at Scheid. He is a really nice guy, and told me they do similar stuff that goerend does to the converters. He had nothing but good to say about Goerend, and I can respect a guy who can acknowledge their competition is building good stuff.
