ATS manifold

How much will an ATS 3 piece manifold drop temperatures? Will it make a noticeable decrease?

Eric

On Edit: I just looked at the HTT manifold, and I like the looks of it pretty good. Is one really any better over the other?

I noticed a good 50 - 100 degree drop in the EGT's just by installing the manifold.

I like my HTT very much. Bgt it to avoid the hassles of assembling the ATS... but heard that ATS may now ships assembled also??
Can't comment on EGT decrease because I bgt it to install twins.
Stronger than 2nd Gen manifolds, and far superior to earlier ones, IMO.

Mine was assembled and that was a year ago. I just reused the exhaust manifold gaskets. Bolt were a PITA, but doable. My stock manifold was cracked 2/3rds around.

I remember a little boost incease also, most likely due to the cracked manifold leaking?

When you take the old one off look at the difference in the hole size and how much of the old manifold covered up the exhaust port. Pretty disgusting to choke the CTD that way. She breaths better now, hense the lower EGT's I guess.

I bought mine from HTT as well and noticed about 100 degree drop in my EGT. Great buy! I would go ahead buy the gasket kit with it. Its not a must, but while you have it off, might as well.

The manifold kit from HTT is a good idea. Makes install easy..and a great price since Dodge wants $7.00 @ for gaskets.
I know some have reuse manifold gaskets with success but the one time I did...got a leaker??
