ATS 3 piece manifold?
Re:ATS 3 piece manifold?
I have the ATS three-piece manifold on my 96' 12
valve truck and am very happy with it! I had mine
coated with "Jet-Hot 2000" which IMO is a VERY
rugged ceramic coating. It fit very well, however
when I had them coat the manifold they also did
the parts where the three pieces come together
and we had a hard time getting the manifold
together. So,......if you have it coated (which
I highly recommend) don't coat the parts that
join together.

Re:ATS 3 piece manifold?
I like mine, ;D but as for how much difference in preformance it made since I added a new turbo and exaust all at once. Who knows, I will say the allen bolts weren't easy to accsess w/out a ball tipped apex.
As for marine's comment about waiting until the stock manifold cracks. The main reason for adding one to my truck is the fact that if your bombed and pushing it a lot the stock manifold can expand enough to break a lug (threaded bolt hole) in the head out. :'(
