Tlaked to a couple guys on another forum that have good results from them but why not just install a lock up switch? Mine cost me all of about $15 and it works very well. Here is the linik to a thread I was in a while back. The pics are not of my rig but I did use the exact same set-up; Thanks to Charlie8301https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=115391 With the floor mat pulled over the switch you would never know it wasn't a factory application and it is very used friendly. Once I get mine back from the tranny shop I plan to add a light in the dash so I can be visually reminded to turn it off.

The lockup switch for $15 and a little of your time is a great idea..... especially when you consider the ATS product is in the $425 range.... I have one, but I do prefer it over a lockup switch.

Compare the two like this.... Lockup switch = manual. ATS = Automatic. Or like this.... Lockup switch = Catcher ECM. ATS = Smarty (Fully adjustable, but one notch better because you can change your lockup speed on the fly.)

I can engage TC lock as slow as 18mph or turn the lockup controller completely off and drive as if it were stock. Very nice for towing, yet great when you want to smoke someone and just disappear!

I was gonna say it almost the same exact way.......the lockup switch works and comes in handy but has no control other than on and off. Where the ATS actually has different settings and isn't as harsh on the tranny as the lockup switch.
