Anyone run a stack like this?
Anyone run a stack like this?
If you have ran a single stack like this, and ran into problems, please let me know!!!!
This is how I plan to run my exhaust...once I get home from VA this Thursday.

I can't wait to hear it! It will be a 4 inch from the down pipe back to the 5 inch flex and up the 5 inch stack with a 90. A high tech redneck always drafts his plans out in 3D first and cuts once!!

I measure 6 inches between the bed and the frame and I think 5 inches will fit....I hope!
I just hope my 90 that I bought is bent short enough to make the radius tight enough to get over it. I drew the parts from the data I had on each piece, which I might add wasn't much. Just that each leg on the 90 was 7.5 inches. The exhaust folks aren't quite as technical as I like to be!

They have a 7.5 inch leg and a 10 something inch. They are 434-503 and 434-509 respectively...I think..don't quote me on that.

Ask for Steve. He took good care of me and he will probably have these in stock. The number I gave you were from memory so check them out, they are also 5"OD to 5"OD.
Hope this helps.

This is precisely how I routed mine. But I didnt use exhaust components, I just used SCH10s stainless but-weld fittings. Tig welded it 100%. Worked out quite nice, but should I ever have to remove it, it needs to be CUT ! lol

i thought about doing one the same way. i like the look of a big single stack. plus with routing the stack that way you can get a chest style tool box that mounts to the floor and push it all the way against the bed. to allow for the most useable bed room. if you had one that mounts on the bed rails you'd still have to slide it forward towards the tailgate to allow for the stack(s). i already have the chest style tool box since i have a camper shell now. if i did sell it though i would go with a single just like that. camper shell w/ safari rack or stack??
Solid Works rocks.
IKER42: The design was drafted using solid works. It is a true 3D cad application that I use at work...and at home obviously! I use AutoCad also for all my 2D stuff.
I am going to push my aux tank all the way to the drivers side. It is all the way to the other side right now to allow a cubby hole to stuff my hose from my pump. I think I can still have enough room for the hose if I move it over about 6 inches. I actually designed the aux tank in solid works too and had it made low enough to see over when hooking up to a gooseneck....not that I can see the ball in the extended cab, but I can align the couple with the bolts on my tailgate when backing up and dang near hit it close enough to hook up the first time. The cherry picker that I built, also drafted in Solid Works gets slide into the truck about once a month to move something around. I like being able to put things into motion and do clearance checks before ever cutting a single piece of metal. It is a real time saver.
It really sucks being stuck over half way accross the nation when I have ideas to work on my truck!! ARGH! I'm ready to be home!!!!

Ahhh.....NO!
I saw that one on here last week. I'd love to have a short truck like that to pull my stock trailers around with...we'll now with the bombs I might actually enjoy doing it with my Dodge now. But, the first thing I'd do is cut those nasty things off! There is cool....and there is U-L-G-Y!
