oh sorry I had read on here to find someone that has one and get them to flash your truck instead of going to the dealer to get their flash because the smarty would be a better flash. Wasnt trying to mooch just tryin to get warm

I thought you could turn your truck back to stock flash a catcher on their truck and then turn it back to stock and they would have the high idle/3 cyl. cut out

Well if thats the case then, my question still stands anyone around here to do this? I'm not looking for hand outs, just some cold start up help. Im deploying in 4 wks and I want my wife to be set up for the rest of winter and not let the truck sit and idle normally.

Well, I'll be in Sioux city sometime next week, but looking at the map, that's still quite the distance from Rapid City unfortunately. Good luck in your quest. I am sure there is someone relatively close by with a Smarty.

I'll be just south of Sioux Falls, probably some time next week, or early the week after. Just as soon as my truck is ready to be picked up. I show five hours from Sioux Falls to Rapid city, a bit much of a jaunt for my taste unfortunately.
