Anyone add a remote transmission filter?

Good or bad? Like a B&M filter kit. What size is the tranny oil lines in a 47re?

I did on the 48re I like it so far. The 48re has a 1/2 line od so I used a 1/2 high pressure rubber line

That's cool. I just ordered a filter kit. It doesn't say, but I think the inlet and outlet size of the filter adapter is 3/8". I was planning on getting a 3/8" npt male x 1/2" hose barb and clamp it on. What type of hose did you get? As far as max temp. and pressure? Autozone?

I ordered a high pressure hose from napa I think it is rated at 400 psi never had it swell or leak.

By the way, am I supposed to hook this up after the tranny cooler? What kind of pressure is in that line?

I ran mine from the line going from trans to the heat exchange cant be too much most spin on filters are rated for only like 110 psi
