Well a while back, I came across some train lights. Yes, the ones that are in front of a locomotive (don't ask me how I got them wink, wink). All I have is the bulb housing, but no type of mount. Its about the size of a regular KC light, but a tad deeper. It has positive and neg wires from out the back. No type of mounting bolt. Just looks like a glass light with a lense. Kinda hard to describe, but ehhhhh.

Any ideas would be great,

make sure they work first, I got some aircraft landing lights that they put on the C-5 galaxys, and they are 24 volt DC lights I think cause they don't work. too bad.

 

Yes they do work, I spliced em up to my battery the other day, bright as a train coming!!!!

 

Hey hunter, when you get back and we do the gauges, I'll take a look at the lights and see if I can't come up with some way to mount them. I'm pretty handy at little nick nack stuff like that.

 

I used PAR36 steel housing tractor lights. Not sure if they're the same thing, but you could probably find something that works at an agricultural store.
