Any advantage in this situation?

Any advantage going to a Mach series injector with the mods in my sig? I already seem to have more fuel than I can throw at my current setup, can't run more than the Juice at 4 and the Smarty at 4 without boosting over 45 psi. EGT's are in check, would cooler numbers be the only advantage or is there power to be had? Thanks!

Mach injectors are great injectors. They will complement what you have already nicely.

Do ya think there is any performance to be had by replacing the Jammers with the Machs? I know I'm getting enough fuel but would the spray pattern or atomization of the Machs make them worth replacing the Jammers?

I found when I switched to mach 4s from my jammers I think they were 75 or 90 this was almost 3 years ago. I did get more power. less smoke they seemed to burn cleaner. they were smoother for me on top end. egt's were fine since I then had a 62/14 htt with it. I also noticed even though I was going bigger on the injector the mach's and the smarty I did get better MPG on the freeway driving. I like don's injectors but I have also hear great things this last year on these guys also. www.southerndieselx.com.

I have now a different built engine and turbo but still liking the mach's but my next set I will check out southerndiesel injectors.

If you had the spare money sittin around just burnin a hole, Id do the swap in a heart beat. From all the good ive heard and read about the F1's compared to all the stuff ive heard and read about jammers, id swap for sure. I wouldnt be suprised if you gained hp and mpgs, lost heat and smoke.

Well, if EGTs are in check, that simply means you need bigger injectors!

Seriously though, if you can hit 45 psi, have you thought about O-ringing the head, or at least head studs?

Hard to say unless you are comparing apples to apples. For a given size, I think the F1s have the best overall combination of power, low smoke, and MPG.

I daily drive M4s with a stock turbo and a Smarty (no fueling box). Great setup, no EGT issues. Always starts in winter, even well below zero.

If you go to a larger Mach injector and turn your box down a little, you'll get more power at a lower smoke and EGT level.

What setting is the boost defuel on the juice set at? Heard that edge juice limits boost to 40-45psi, as that the max pressure reading for the map sensor.

F1 has made the best sticks that I've run, but they are smokey and run egt's. At the end of the day, you have to find out what size of stick you can run. Just about everyone has the same procedures for the nozzles.

Have you done a boost leak check? Seen leaks that limit max boost, kinda like a blow-off valve. Leads to over speeding the turbo.

I ran the good old edge comp box/smarty stack and my max boost ever was 85psi, about 5 years ago Today my truck is more a work truck than a play truck.

I have the defuel set at 1500* and 45 psi. I had read somewhere that my Super B was only good for around 45 psi anyway. That's why I was wondering if Mach sticks were worthwhile as I can get 45 psi with the Juice on 4 and Smarty on 4 easily.
