i have a question for u vgt guys.....i have my 351ve all hooked up and there is maybe an 1 3/4 in clearance between the center section of the turbo and the shock tower....is this enough clearance or will the engine torque enough to actually strike the turbo on the shock tower?

 

Thats plenty of room, unless you have broken engine mounts.
