I have an older tst powermax 2, (no phone jack - so no way to upgrade) stacked with my smarty. I'm not real happy with the combo and I'm wondering if this is how the two normally act together. The tst will only add fuel at part throttle. As soon as I put the throttle too far down, the green "fuel" light goes out and It definatly stops fueling. If I back out of the go pedal, the fuel comes back. This has nothing to do with boost or rpm's, just throttle position. It seems like it fuels better under a load, and it is worse at higher smarty #'s.

My question is: will a tst powermax3 act the same way, or will it fuel at WOT. I really like the power when it adds fuel, but I don't like the way it cuts out. I'm thinking of getting a pm3 if it will eliminate the cutting out. I also get the nasty pump knocking if I let off too quickly after it fuels hard - I didn't think I would get that with only a pm2. Thanks.
