airdog ?

i have an airdog fp100 and i see about 15-15 1/2 psi at idle and can take it down to about 12-13psi....i see other people on here say they cant bring theirs below 17 and that they have around 20-22 psi idle.....why does mine not have over 15? i love the pump and all but i plan on some fueling upgrades soon and want to be sure i can keep it over about 8-9

I've also got the Airdog 100 and see the same numbers you're getting.
Even with my fueling box (xzillaraider) on its highest setting, I've not seen the gauge go below 12-13. The airdog 100 is the best upgrade I've done for my truck by far.

Don't the people with higher psi readings have the 150 unit?
Depending on what you're planning for the truck, I'm pretty sure the 150 is only necessary for people who really bomb them.

Pressure is only restriction to flow, maybe you guys have your lines/fittings less restrictive than others?

The Airdog kit came with all the fuel hose and fittings from the fuel tank to the vp, there is very minimal restriction to the flow of fuel anywhere in my system from the tank to the vp.
I'm pretty sure that the psi numbers we're getting are fine and what they're supposed to be with the Airdog 100.

Unless you plan on going over 500 RWHP with your upgrades, you should be fine with the unit you have. Check out this thread

I have a Raptor 100 and also have seen the same pressures as you (17 @ idle & 13 @ WOT). If you want more you can turn up the regulator. I'm leaving mine right where it is.

Call Pure flow (Airdog) and tell them you want a higher pressure spring. They will send them out to you for free.

Just remove the return line & fitting from the Airdog, give the spring a stretch. This will raise your pressure, but don't stretch it much, only needs a little.
