I was thinking of going with the air dog or the raptor pump I had a fass and it stopped working tried to get it warrantied but i wasn't the original owner to the pump i bought it used>>> so is anyone running this?? currently i'm running an intank and a carter pump with bigger fuel lines but I want to go to a fass/airdog style pump again.

any info/reviews on this pump(S) would be appreciated

 

Love mine steady as a rock at 14.5 psi was easy to install but I didnt have the intank pump so you will have to remove it or add a draw straw. Only running the fp100 here but several on the site have just ordered the 150 but I dont think its needed unless your going over 550hp.

 

Love mine too same as above rock steady pressures very little drop at WOT like maybe 1 - 1.5 psi max I dont think you will be disapointed

Get the Airdog replace the whole filter setup and everything since you have the intank you may have to add a new pickup but I believe Airdog can help with that as well. The kit will have everything you need to install 1/2 lines AN8 fittings from tank to IP

 

What do people do when the get a fass or airdog and ditch the factory fuel canister?

There is the water in fuel light and there is a fuel heater also in the housing correct? Is there a spot to install these sensors in the aftermarket setups? Or are they just done away with?

I dont know of anyone ever seeing the water in fuel light come on in these trucks so I wasnt worried about that one. plus having a water seperater made me feel more comfortable than a silly light. The heater was a concern to me but after talking to a few people with them they had been to some very cold climates and never had a problem plus I figured the fuel would gel before it ever made it to the filter housing any way if it was going to so I didnt worry to much about it.

 

Well i did away with mine also. And it got down to 5 degrees out side two days ago and i haven't had a problem either. I was just curious.

 

Same here, no problems so far, but its only been 2 weeks.

 

Only time I ever see my WIF come on is when I'm inside a carwash that hits the undercarriage, otherwise I've never seen it on 3 different trucks with a combined mileage of about 300k.

 

Why not send the FASS in for the Pump Upgrade? Should end up with a good as new FASS for $200.00 +/-

I run an Airdog on my 97 12valve. I did away with all of the factory stuff. I got sick and tired of the stock stuff always leaking every 1 1/2-2 years.
It goes from tank to Airdog to injection pump out back to tank.
I also like it because the Airdog runs 2-3 micron filters. The DDP4$ would be expensive to rebuild because of a piece of dirt.
I also get better cold starts, smoother idle, and I think quicker spoolup. I also noticed more power from the butt dyno (could be imagining it).
I see a constant 30psi at idle and it drops to 28-29 at WOT.
Buy one you wont be disappointed.
Also their customer service rocks.

 

I just purchased the FP-150 and have one question. Can it be installed on my 2002 2500 HO as if it were an FP-100. My issue stems from having a marginal lift pump (9 psi at idle, 3 at WOT) and a full tank of fuel. I was thinking of connecting to the OEM draw tube, running the tank down (approx 550 miles) and then performing the draw tube install. Will the pump cavitate or suffer damage using the OEM draw tube?
